Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced Account Manager in Round Rock, TX to own strategic customer relationships within electro-mechanical automation. You will guide field application engineers and coordinate with product and project teams to drive growth.

The role requires 5+ years in automation sales, strong technical communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering customer value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; master's preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in electro-mechanical automation/robotics/industry in an account management role.
  • Ability to guide FAE’s and activities as needed.
  • Broad working knowledge of servo motors & drives, gear reducers, automation communication protocols.
  • Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint skills; ability to use customer portal websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong knowledge of market, account, competition, and industry trends to enable guidance to Delta’s internal production teams
  • Develop a Key Account Strategy to achieve or exceed annual goals, metrics and expectation
  • Responsible for new business growth
  • Total ownership of customer’s business relationship with Delta
  • Develop business plans around customers’ stated and implied business trends;
  • Manage customers’ expectations to Delta’s and identify gaps with paths to closure
  • Communicate and drive execution to close project wins
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive sales metrics and results
  • Manage and ensure any customer issues are resolved through necessary escalation process
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and information sharing with Product and Project Management teams
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in related field, Masters preferred
  • 5+ years experience in electro-mechanical automation / robotic / industry in an account management role
  • Ability to guide FAE’s and activities as needed
  • Broad working knowledge of servo motors & drives, gear reducers, automation communication protocols, is required
  • Strong MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint skills, with the ability to learn & utilize customer portal websites

  • Demonstrated success at working & collaborating with multi-discipline teams
  • Quickly understand complex electro-mechanical mechanisms and effectively communicate orally, graphically, or written to assigned PJM team members

The base salary range for this full-time position is based off degree and years experience. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
