About the role:
The Technical Sales / Account Manager is responsible for managing the assigned key ODM customer’s Infrastructure & Automation business. This will include meeting or exceeding budgets and growth targets. Working with internal & external teams to achieve the congruent goals and objectives. Undertaking a leading Project Management role on an as‑needed basis to ensure all internal business units operate efficiently to demonstrate Delta’s capabilities in delivering a standard to highly customized automation solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong knowledge of market, account, competition, and industry trends to enable guidance to Delta’s internal production teams.
- Develop a Key Account Strategy to achieve or exceed annual goals, metrics and expectations.
- Responsible for new business growth.
- Total ownership of customer’s business relationship with Delta.
- Acknowledged as the Voice of the Customer (VoC).
- Develop business plans around customers’ stated and implied business trends.
- Manage customers’ expectations and identify gaps with paths to closure.
- Communicate and drive execution to close project wins.
- Monitor, analyze, and drive sales metrics and results.
- Manage and ensure any customer issues are resolved through necessary escalation process.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and information sharing with Product and Project Management teams.

- Quickly understand a broad range of Infrastructure & Automation products including electro‑mechanical mechanisms & automation solutions, Electrical Control Panels, Power products, building automation and effectively communicate orally, graphically, or written to assigned PJM team members.
- 5+ years experience in either Infrastructure or Automation industry in an account management role.
- Ability and willingness to adapt and expand knowledge base supporting a changing and diverse customer needs which focuses on the Infrastructure and Automation field.
- Ability to guide FAE’s and activities as needed.
- Broad working knowledge of robotic automation & building automation, Electrical Control Panels & power products is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or recognized further education + 5 years account management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, Master’s a plus.
Salary up to $150,000 with Sales/performance Incentive and full benefits.
