Job summary

Trane Technologies invites motivated students to join a 12-week Summer internship in Technical Sales, focusing on building efficiency and sustainability. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers, learn the design and sale of HVAC systems, and gain hands-on experience across North America.

The program develops leadership and communication skills, with potential pathways into our Graduate Training Program after graduation.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the duration of the internship; preferable in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing or Engineering.
• Sophomore year or second year completion before internship start is required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Sales Account Managers and customers.
• Understand design, application and sale of systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
• Attend sales meetings and customer visits with experienced account managers.
• Be hands-on in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish during the internship.
• Build relationships with customers as a daily point of contact in the solution process.
