Technical Sales Executive - Commercial Fire Software (Remote, Finance)

Join the team revolutionizing the fire alarm industry! The First Responder Alerting team within Honeywell's fire software business, Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), is rapidly investing in technologies that advance fire alarm monitoring for the benefit of all stakeholders—from building occupants to system installers and service providers.

Use your extensive subject matter expertise to support and influence customers toward Honeywell solutions. You will provide external and internal consultations, help develop and maintain product messaging, customer support, and training, and foster cross-functional alignment to customer needs. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning and customer negotiations, and may consult prospective users on product capabilities or provide valuable input for product development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Engage in customer-facing activities to build and maintain relationships
  2. Educate customers on value propositions and features to drive adoption
  3. Analyze customer needs such as user experience, defects, limitations, and potential enhancements
  4. Advocate for customer needs to business stakeholders, including product, engineering, and operations teams
  5. Analyze growth opportunities within customer relationships
  6. Drive customers to employ best practices in utilizing solutions to ensure maximum business impact
  7. Coach peers, sales, and tech support teams on targeted product value propositions
  8. Present technical sales briefings to customers
  9. Develop and champion best-in-class sales training
  10. Coordinate engineering support for customers
  11. Provide data for sales collateral

The salary range for this position is $87,100 - $120,000. The actual offer will depend on experience, education, location, and other relevant factors.

The application period is estimated at 40 days from the posting date, but may be shortened or extended based on business needs and candidate availability.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Field Services or Technical Support)
  • Minimum of 2 years B2B sales or account management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years knowledge of central station monitoring services, alarm communicators/transmitters for fire/security, or alarm transmission and communication services
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
