MayTec, Inc is seeking a passionate Application / Sales Engineer to support and grow sales in our fast-growing market. The ideal candidate is a flexible, creative engineer with deep expertise, energetic curiosity, and a solid grasp of design, ready to wear many hats.

This role collaborates with distribution partners and customers across industries, uses MayCAD and other design tools to develop solutions, and travels to engage partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Ability to learn new products and demonstrate technical sales proficiency.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with partners and customers to understand requirements and articulate solutions, risks, and challenges.
• Design solutions using MayCAD and other design tools to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate and explain best practices in design and assembly of MayTec products.
• Prepare and issue written quotes and manage opportunity pipeline.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships and travel to partners and customers.

MayTec is looking for a passionate Application / Sales Engineer to support and grow sales in our fast-growing market.The ideal candidate is a flexible, creative engineer who has deep expertise, energetic curiosity, a solid grasp of design, and a desire to wear many hats.This person will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing problem-solving support and solutions in a vast variety of industries and technologies we serve.

Objectives of this role:

• Support distribution partners and customers as needed for technical support on all products
• Grow our partner base and customers within a geographical territory
• Location flexible based on proximity to supporting the customer base
• Manage multiple project timelines as required to support the business

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with partners and customers to understand requirements, make recommendations and articulate solutions, risks, and predict potential challenges
• Design solutions to meet the customers' needs using MayCAD and other design tools
• Demonstrate and explain best practices in design and assembly of all MayTec products
• Prepare and issue written quotes for customers and maintain opportunity project pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships
• Travel is required to work directly with our distribution partners and customers

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, with discipline in industrial automation and technology
• Ability and drive to learn new products, technical sales proficiency
• Ability to develop training to partners and customers as required
• Demonstrate a strong mechanical/technical aptitude
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management and technical skills
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail, and problem-solving
• Motivation and drive to exceed goals while developing new business
