Description

Digital Charter is searching for an experienced Technical Recruiter for a part-time, as-needed remote position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting recruitment, with expertise in technical hiring, security clearance levels, and pre-screening candidates for Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Software Developer roles. This role involves identifying, sourcing, and screening qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with federal hiring regulations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Source, identify, and screen candidates for Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Software Developer roles.
  2. Evaluate candidate eligibility based on security clearance requirements (Public Trust, Secret, TS/SCI, etc.).
  3. Conduct initial pre-screening interviews to assess technical expertise, experience, and cultural fit.
  4. Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and determine hiring priorities.
  5. Utilize applicant tracking systems (Paylocity) and other sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  6. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  7. Ensure compliance with federal hiring regulations and government contracting best practices.
Pay

Starting at $25/hr

Requirements

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical recruiting for government contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of security clearance levels and eligibility requirements.
  • Experience recruiting for Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Software Developer positions.
  • Ability to conduct technical pre-screening interviews and assess candidate competencies.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis.
  • US Citizenship is required for this position due to access to classified information, government contract requirements, and the need for a security clearance.
