Varda Space Industries is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale engineering teams for our space-based manufacturing platform. You will support full-cycle recruiting across autonomous systems, propulsion, thermal, mechanical engineering, and structures, reporting to a Recruiting Manager.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in full-cycle technical recruiting within hardware or deep tech startups, with strong communication and excellent candidate experience. This onsite role is based in El Segundo, CA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for hardware-centric or engineering-focused companies (aerospace, robotics, deep tech).
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Genuine curiosity about the technical work candidates do.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen engineering talent through multiple channels.
• Manage multiple active searches and maintain candidate experience.
• Conduct recruiter screens for technical fit and compensation expectations.
• Support offer processes with Recruiting Managers.
• Own candidate experience from first touch through onboarding.
