Position: Technical Recruiter
Location: Remote
Category: Flexible, Part-time (15 hours) to Full-time (40 hours)

Role Overview: As a Technical Recruiter specializing in full-stack development, AI, and other high-demand technical fields, you will lead efforts to find top-tier talent. You will manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding exceptional candidates. You will collaborate with engineering teams and leadership to build a diverse and talented workforce that supports the mission to drive transformative change through technology.

Responsibilities
  • Recruiting and Talent Acquisition
    • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Full-Stack Developers, AI Developers, and other key technical roles, including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
    • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies across multiple channels, including niche job boards, social media, tech communities, and networking events.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with passive candidates to maintain a pipeline of qualified talent for current and future openings.
    • Work with hiring managers to understand team needs, job descriptions, and ideal candidate profiles, ensuring alignment with company values and culture.
    • Support the candidate journey from initial contact through offer acceptance, providing an exceptional experience that reflects the company’s mission and values.
    • Continuously improve recruiting processes to ensure efficiency and quality in hiring.
  • HR Generalist & Onboarding Support
    • Assist in the employee onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, contracts, and training materials.
    • Partner with leadership to help manage employee relations, performance reviews, and conflict resolution where applicable.
    • Ensure compliance with HR policies, relevant labor laws, and company procedures.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting
    • Maintain and track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate satisfaction) and provide reports to leadership to improve strategies.
    • Ensure data integrity within HRIS and ATS systems, keeping candidate and employee information up to date.
    • Assist with recruitment audits to ensure compliance with relevant local and global regulations.
  • International & Global Talent Management
    • Support recruitment for remote and global positions, ensuring smooth cross-border onboarding and compliance with international employment laws.
    • Work with HRIS and EOR partners to ensure seamless onboarding, payroll, and legal compliance for remote and international employees.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on full-stack development, AI, and similar technical roles
  • Proven experience sourcing and hiring for complex, high-skill roles using creative, data-driven methods
  • Strong understanding of the tech industry, including trends in software development, AI, and machine learning
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools, including ATS, HRIS, Asana, and social media platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment, managing multiple priorities
  • Experience with international recruitment and understanding of global compliance issues is a plus
Equity-Based Compensation

As part of the SOULCHI team, you will participate in an equity-based compensation model aligned with the company’s success. The model uses the Slicing Pie approach. The first phase is equity-based only, with dynamic equity calculations based on fair market rate and hours worked. In the second phase, at the break-even point, equity terms freeze and compensation switches to salary plus benefits, with equity percentages paid out annually as profit sharing.
