Job description

Join to apply for the Technical Recruiter – EMEA (Remote) role at Starbridge

Starbridge is seeking a Technical Recruiter based in EMEA to help us identify, qualify, and engage world-class talent. As one of our first recruiters outside the U.S., you will play a critical role in shaping our global hiring strategy and ensuring a strong candidate experience across regions and functions.

You will partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and assess candidates across technical and go-to-market roles, and in some cases drive candidates through later-stage interviews. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale with top-tier talent in a competitive market.

If you are energized by fast-paced environments, have a keen eye for technical aptitude, and thrive in high-ownership roles, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities & Impact
  • Own candidate screening & qualification: Conduct resume reviews and interviews to assess skills, experience, and culture fit across technical EMEA-based roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers: Collaborate with R&D leadership to define role requirements, interview processes, and success profiles.
  • Drive candidate pipeline in EMEA: Manage inbound applications, referrals, and sourced candidates to ensure steady funnel progression.
  • Support later-stage interviews: Where needed, conduct deeper evaluations (technical or competency-based) to accelerate decision-making.
  • Ensure a world-class candidate experience: Communicate clearly, provide timely feedback, and represent Starbridge’s brand and mission authentically.
  • Streamline recruiting operations: Help implement best practices around tools, workflows, and reporting to improve efficiency.
  • Act as a trusted advisor: Provide market insights on compensation, candidate availability, and recruiting best practices in the EMEA region.
What You Bring
Must Have
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication skills in English.
  • 3+ years experience in recruiting, ideally with a focus on technical roles in high-growth startups or SaaS companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently qualify, screen, and progress candidates through hiring processes.
  • Experience working with EMEA talent markets, with sensitivity to local hiring norms and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess both technical and behavioral competencies.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive communication style.
  • Ownership mentality: you thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and bias toward action.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting (from sourcing to closing).
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting platforms and tools (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Gem, Juicebox, etc.).
  • Technical literacy—comfortable discussing software engineering concepts, tools, and stacks at a high level.
  • Prior experience scaling recruiting in early-stage companies.
Why Join Starbridge
  • Ownership: You’ll shape how we build teams across EMEA.
  • Autonomy: You’ll run your process with the freedom to innovate.
  • Trajectory: We’re scaling quickly and see this role growing in scope.
  • Team: Work alongside sharp, collaborative colleagues who value craft and execution.
  • Mission: Help modern companies sell into a $1.5T public sector with better intelligence.
Benefits include:
  • Competitive salary + early-stage equity
  • Flexible remote-first work policy within EMEA
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Regular offsites (NYC + global locations)
