The Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform protects thousands of customers from cyberattacks and data loss by securely connecting users, devices, and applications in any location. Distributed across 200+ public data centers globally and thousands of private sites at the edge, the SASE-based Zero Trust Exchange is the world’s largest in-line cloud security platform.

We believe the future of work is Human + AI and are building an AI-native enterprise where human potential is amplified by machine intelligence to solve the world’s hardest security challenges. Driven by deep customer obsession, we are committed to the mission, outcome, and to each other. We bring these commitments to life through three core behaviors: ownership and collaboration, trust through outcomes and impact, and a challenge culture with ongoing feedback. Ready to make an impact at the company pioneering security transformation in the AI era? Join us at Zscaler.

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition Team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role based out of our Santa Clara, CA HQ (on-site Tuesday-Thursday), reporting to the Head of Technical Recruiting. In this role, you will execute full-cycle recruiting—identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent at Zscaler. By aligning with immediate team priorities and following established selection processes, you will ensure we build strong teams through inclusive and thoughtful execution.

What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)
  • Execute full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across the duration of the contract, ensuring an exceptionally positive candidate experience at every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and leaders to assist in the design and delivery of tailored recruitment strategies that align with immediate team priorities.
  • Support hiring teams with minimal supervision from recruitment kickoff meetings through offer formulation, negotiation, and close.
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices with urgency, precision, and thoughtful execution.
  • Leverage strategic sourcing methodologies to build and cultivate high-quality candidate pipelines across a variety of critical technical searches in a competitive talent environment.
Who You Are (Success Profile)
  • You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.
  • You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • You are a problem-solver. You love running toward challenges because you are laser-focused on finding solutions, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.
  • You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are committed to continuous development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training.
  • 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, preferably in-house within the enterprise software, cloud, or cybersecurity industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience with strategic sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, niche tech communities, and advanced search techniques).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders to drive searches and fill requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate excitement around technical opportunities while delivering a responsive, candidate-first experience.
  • Ability to work on-site at our Santa Clara, CA Headquarters Tuesday through Thursday.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Proven track record of leveraging AI-powered sourcing tools, talent intelligence platforms, or automated workflows to accelerate talent pipelines
  • Prior experience recruiting for software engineering, distributed systems, AI/ML, data science, or security research domains.
  • Proven track record of applying structured, inclusive hiring practices and building diverse talent pipelines.
  • Versatility and comfort operating in both fast-scoping high-growth environments and established enterprise organizations.
