The Role

Great Gray is looking to add a Contract Technical Recruiter (1099) to our Talent Acquisition team. In this short-term opportunity, the technical recruiter will play a critical role in augmenting our team's recruitment capabilities in support of our expanding technology organization. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive full-cycle recruiting efforts while helping us continue to scale thoughtfully, providing an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Location

This position will be remote. Candidates may work from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  1. Own full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, from intake through offer
  2. Develop and execute sourcing strategies to discover high-quality candidates across a variety of platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter
  3. Screen and assess candidates for both technical qualifications and alignment with Great Gray's values: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results-Driven, Collaborative
  4. Collaborate with hiring managers to build efficient and effective interview processes
  5. Track and manage candidate activity in our applicant tracking system
  6. Provide a positive and transparent experience for all candidates
  7. Report on pipeline progress and hiring metrics, offering insights and recommendations
  8. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and changing hiring needs in a growing organization

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in any applicable field or equivalent, relevant experience
  2. 5+ years of experience in tech recruiting, ideally with a mix of in-house and agency experience
  3. Proven success recruiting for roles in software engineering, product management, and data
  4. Experience managing multiple priorities effectively across varied technical domains
  5. Strong sourcing capabilities with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS platforms (experience with Lever is a plus)
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  7. Highly organized, self-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  8. Commitment to high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience
  9. Comfortable navigating ambiguity

$50 - $60 an hour
