Matic is building home robotics that operate reliably in real households. The Technical Recruiter role supports that mission by constructing talent pipelines for technical hiring, focusing on sourcing hard-to-find candidates and partnering with founders on role expectations.

You will craft research-driven sourcing strategies, personalize outreach, and help define what “great” looks like for each role, with ownership of the process and an emphasis on fit over funnel metrics.

Qualifications

• Proficient in targeted candidate research and creative outreach.
• Ability to design research-driven sourcing plans across robotics/ML/embedded software.

Requirements

• Ability to reason through difficult hiring challenges, develop sourcing strategies, and adapt quickly as new information emerges

• Preference for judgment and honest conversations over pressure-based tactics

Nice to Have

• 0-4 years of experience in talent acquisition at a high-growth tech startup
• Experience sourcing for technical roles including ML, robotics, embedded, systems, or similar areas
• Background in technical research, engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
• Experience at a fast-moving startup or hardware and deep tech company
• Eagerness to use AI tools and automate workflows
• Experience using an ATS such as Ashby or greenhouse
