Job summary

Krones, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, and installs both machines and complete packaging lines. We seek a professional to quote electrical retrofits, equipment upgrades, safety systems, and related processes, while providing technical support to customers and internal teams.

You will work with project managers and engineers to ensure quotes and orders meet customer requirements, requiring strong communication and detail orientation in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering or 10+ years electrical experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and organization skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume work environment.
• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines.
• Occasional travel (up to 5% of the year).
• Packaging industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Quoting electrical retrofits, equipment upgrades of various types, safety systems, obsolete parts, and other quote-related processes.
• Provide technical support to internal departments and external customers regarding retrofits, upgrades, and equipment capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and the engineering department to ensure customer requirements are met for quotes and orders.

This position’s main responsibility will be quoting the following: electrical retrofits, equipment upgrades of various types, safety systems, solutions for obsolete parts, and other quote-related processes.
