Responsibilities:

As a Manager:

  • Establish performance goals for team members
  • Provide regular feedback on performance and development, addressing issues promptly
  • Recognize high performers to motivate and retain talent
  • Implement development plans and coaching for team members
  • Create and foster team spirit
  • Induct new joiners to maximize their performance
  • Allocate workload to utilize employee talents and growth potential
  • Participate in defining, leading, and auditing quality initiatives
  • Report on quality metrics regularly
  • Lead or participate in compliance and process improvement efforts
  • Manage Quality Engineering team members in distributed teams

As an Individual Contributor:

  • Develop automation scripts in a C#-based test framework for REST web services
  • Use SQL for database verification and functional test automation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve automation frameworks and processes
  • Participate in Agile development, including requirements analysis and test planning
  • Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing; analyze root causes and report bugs
  • Work with engineering and support teams to resolve defects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualifications and professional memberships are a plus

Experience:

  • 8+ years in Quality Engineering, including Agile, test automation, and software release processes
  • Mentoring and leadership experience in Test Engineering
  • 2+ years in engineering management
  • Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, Azure, AWS, etc.
