Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a New Product Transition Project Manager to drive the transition and release of new products into manufacturing.

You will coordinate planning, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing and supply chain to ensure smooth product commercialization. The role requires experience in semiconductor manufacturing product development, product commercialization, and hardware development.

  • Prepare project plan and coordinate deliverables from planning to implementation.
  • Maintains matrix for process improvements.
  • Drive project deliverables and task details by through use reports, tracking charts and, checklists.
  • Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project.
  • Monitors, and reports to the business unit on project's cost performance.
  • Participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects.
  • Contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals.
  • Research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution.

This posting is for a New Product Transition PM. This person represents all of manufacturing in the product commercialization core team, and is responsible for the transition and release of new products into manufacturing. Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time Relocation Eligible: Yes The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
