Job summary

Evans & Chambers Technology is seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee IT projects across web and mobile platforms from concept through completion. The role requires coordinating multiple technical teams, collaborating with designers, developers, and strategists, and traveling within the DMV area to support customer sites as needed.

The position demands 5+ years in IT project management, experience with Jira, strong communication, and a TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in IT.
• Experience with software development management tools including Jira.
• Experience in full IT software development lifecycle to ensure effective facilitation at all levels of the project.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with short deadlines.
• Presentation and software demo experience.
• US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage multiple technical teams of software engineers across different programs.
• Familiar with Agile and Scrum environments.
• Support the team during Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retros
• Servant leader to help maximize team efficiency by quickly removing impediments
• Coordinate meetings with the product owner to refine the backlog and clarify requirements
• Produce project deliverables such as release notes, user guides, and product sheets
• Build successful relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to improve client retention
