An established industry player is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in ADAS technologies. This dynamic role involves managing project scope, timeline, and budget while ensuring compliance with critical safety standards such as ISO 26262. Candidates will oversee project execution and lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative automotive solutions. The position requires a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with a strong background in ADAS sensors and version control tools. Job Description Summary:
Manage Project Scope, Timeline and Budget/Expenses. Obtain and align resources to key project roles; establish clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities. Oversight/Manage/Lead project execution, integration, and implementation. Risk Management and Mitigation Planning; experience working with ADAS Sensors (Radar, Camera and Ultrasonic). Work within a tightly revision-controlled environment (using a version control tool such as Subversion or git). Familiarity with measurement and calibration tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe. Familiar with HiL simulations specifically using DSpace. Fine-tuning vehicle behavior (steering and braking) to OEM’s comfort level in terms of user experience. Ability to work / lead requirements elicitation, analysis and decomposition following a top-down System design approach (realized through Model-Based Systems Engineering) and integrating their deep experience-based requirement definition into the process. Solutioning technical problems and effectively communicating with the team ideas. Support budget development and resource planning for the department. Ensure team members have the tools for development, integration, and testing. Responsible for overall ADAS activities, meet vehicle proto and production timing. Meeting all feature, functionality, testing, and validation deliverables. Define and develop testing and validation scopes, HIL/SIL/Test Track. Ensure Functional Safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF, NCAP, other Regulatory safety standards are met. Develop and lead DFMEA activities work with other teams to implement results. Develop and lead DVP&R and work with validation teams on execution. Provide leadership regarding project prioritization, process validations, and continuous improvement activities. Use cases, Operational Scenarios and Corner cases. State Machines, Systems suppressions, and failure. Work with HMI, steering and brake engineers to ensure these sub-systems are working as per specifications. Data Collection, Data Analysis, Issues Tracking and Reporting. Provide recommendations and negotiate with suppliers in all areas of ADAS. Interact with technical partners, customers and suppliers as needed. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S.
What you’ll be doingQualifications:
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Electrical or Electronic or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have demonstrated experience with: ADAS Sensors (Radar, Camera and Ultrasonic); version control tool (Subversion or Git); CANalyzer and CANoe; DSpace; HIL / SIL / Test Track; and Functional Safety (ISO 26262), SOTIF and NCAP.
Salary offered for the position is: $142,800.00 - $160,000.00/year.

Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time.
