What Youll Do

As a Technical Project Manager II, you will support the execution of AI-driven initiatives. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that deliverables align with timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations. You'll have a strong foundation in project management methodologies and a basic understanding of software development and AI/ML workflows to facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, data science, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination & Execution: Manage the setup, tracking, and execution of software development and AI-related projects, ensuring deliverables align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for project updates, facilitating discussions between internal teams and external partners.
  • Agile Project Management: Support Agile processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement to maintain project momentum.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and data science teams, ensuring seamless integration of technology/AI solutions into business operations.
  • Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks, escalate challenges appropriately, and support troubleshooting efforts to maintain project stability, which may include amendment contracts through change management processes.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and structured project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, and risk logs.
  • Process Improvement & Learning: Stay up to date with best practices in technical project management, including use of AI in daily tasking, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal workflows.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years in technical project management, preferably within AI, SaaS, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Project Management Expertise:
    • Experience managing technology-focused projects in traditional waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid environments.
    • Familiarity with Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
    • Strong ability to track progress, manage dependencies, and report on project status.
  • AI & Data Familiarity:
    • Basic understanding of software development and/or AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, and model deployment.
    • Comfortable working with technical teams on software development or AI-related initiatives, even if not hands-on.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Exposure to SQL, cloud platforms, or API-based integrations ( but not required).
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Travel required locally or long-distance up to 25% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and/or reliable transportation.

Compensation

Expected Salary Range: $87,000 - $108,000
Final compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Performance-based bonuses and a full benefits package are also offered.
