Job summary

Fiber Materials Inc. is seeking a proactive Technical Project Manager to join the Research & Technology Advanced Programs team.

You will manage the technical execution of engineering projects delivering high temperature material solutions for defense and space, define, bid and manage work packages, and forecast cost and schedule performance. The ideal candidate has a technical degree or manufacturing experience, strong communication and proven project management skills; capable of leading with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years in advanced manufacturing or development environment.
• Experience managing engineering or manufacturing development programs / projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate across levels and disciplines.
• Experience with requirements, risk, cost account management and reporting.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide budgetary and schedule estimates for new programs and modifications.
• Own project schedule and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Follow technology development processes and track TRL/MRL maturation.
• Proactively manage risk with effective mitigation plans.
• Lead and/or participate in customer reviews and status reporting.
• Coordinate with Quality, Safety, Manufacturing and Operations and suppliers.
