ASML US, LLC in the United States seeks a Technical Project Manager to advance EUV DG research for next-generation lithography technology. You will lead cross-functional teams across laser, controls, and tin management research to drive experiments, roadmap alignment, and system-level performance demonstrations.
The role requires BS or MS in physics, laser engineering or a related field with 8+ years of PM experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget in
ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
Our Technology Development team is focused on conceiving and demonstrating the technologies required for next generations of high-power extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources. Based on a laser produced plasma (LPP), our light source relies on a wide range of unique and challenging technologies, ranging from laser light amplification, extreme high pressure droplet generation, Tin debris management and high-power optical systems. You are invited to bring your passion, knowledge and expertise in areas of mechanical engineering, applied physics, plasmas, metrology, optics, controls, lasers and experiment design to push the boundaries of these technologies forward.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join our team. In this role you will help to advance the EUV source technology for next generation products. You will join a research team responsible for pathfinding and innovating the heart of the EUV source, the droplet generation (DG), to enable the performance of the next generation EUV product. As the Project Manager you will organize the team's tasks in alignment with the team's "3 in a box", the DG-research's group lead and architect. Your project team will conceive and evaluate technical concepts and design, and develop experimentation to test the validity of such hypothesis. You will plan and manage resources for such ideation and experimental validation up to full scale architecture performance demonstrations. Furthermore, you will drive innovation to scale pressure/rep rate that helps to scale EUV power and stability by collaborating closely with the stakeholder team, as well as other DG- research scientists. Finally, you will foster cross-functional teamwork connecting with the Laser, controls and tin management research teams towards a holistic EUV source development vision.
