You will oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, define scope and milestones, and lead teams working on SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure DevOps, and automation. Strong MS 365/SharePoint, AD, PowerShell experience required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with enterprise O365 SharePoint administration and support.
• Experience migrating site collections with Sharegate.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, SQL Server, Power BI, and PowerShell.

Scope of Project

DSS has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user’s business needs and DSS’ workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan, manage, and coordinate complex IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Define project scope, create and update project plans and work breakdown structures, and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
• Identify and manage IT project risks, determine resource requirements, and obtain signoff on project deliverables using Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of various project teams, including teams working on SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure DevOps, and consultants.
• Coordinate, track, and report on project tasks and activities, including configuration, management, and maintenance of collaboration and DevOps technologies.
• Report project progress to management, stakeholders, and relevant teams.
• Lead teams responsible for delivering collaboration and automation solutions.
• Serve as a cloud collaboration and automation expert on Microsoft 365/O365 and Azure technologies from project initiation through completion.
• Advise project teams on cloud collaboration and automation solutions to support speed to market, return on investment, and delivery of business value.
• Drive improvement initiatives related to infrastructure and software deployment automation.
• Apply creative provisioning techniques, implementation methodologies, and deployment methodologies to improve infrastructure and software deployment processes.
• Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, ShareGate, and PowerShell to support automation and deployment initiatives.
• Research and identify emerging technologies impacting cloud-based PaaS and SaaS solutions.
• Evaluate cloud technologies and solutions to ensure the Agency follows industry best practices.
• Support initiatives related to cloud security, usability, and technology improvements.
• Liaise with business leaders, IT technical teams, consultants, and vendors to fulfill department goals and objectives.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
• Managing and administrating enterprise-level O365 SharePoint; troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for service requests related to O365 SharePoint Online and on-premises environments; migrating site collections using Sharegate; supporting One Drive and Teams for business; working with Active Directory, PowerShell, eDiscovery site collections.
• Understanding current and emerging infrastructure technologies and practices and how other organizations are employing them and the ability to identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, SharePoint Online and Office 365.
• Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks.
• Working with Active Directory, PowerShell, eDiscovery site collections
