Job Description
TechMahindra Network Services is looking for a proven team leader with extensive experience in managing a complex project where multiple teams will be involved in developing an OSS framework for 5G rollout. You should be a seasoned telecom professional with considerable experience working for a vendor, wireless communication service provider (W-CSP) or a consultancy focusing on telecom OSS. You should have proven experience with several implementations of an OSS for 3G/4G/5G preferably at a W-CSP or a MVNO.
Responsibilities
Work within Xfinity 5G OSS team, you are required to lead the ground up agile development involving multiple vendors and coordinate with several internal and external teams in evolving the complex OSS platform, which will be integrated with various EMS and Inventory systems as it come alive.
- Project manage the Development of the OSS platform bringing in continues improvements to following solutions:
- Configuration Management
- Performance Management
- Fault Management
- AWS Infrastructure
- Integrations to multiple EMS systems
- Practice DevOps methodology (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Microservices, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring and Logging, Communication and Collaboration)
- Engage with engineers in opportunity identification and build new controls into the platform to detect Faults and improve performance
- Work with experience team of architects, developers and analysts based off/onshore
- Lead, guide, manage outsourced DevOps teams
- Build relationships with partners and align vendor OSS roadmap with the build
- Manage project status and information in the form of formal briefings, project update meetings and written, electronic and graphic reports
Job Requirements
- Generally, requires 10+ years related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology related field
- Agile certifications a plus
- Proven experience working as a Scrum Master, DevOps Architect/Engineer
- Proven experience with OSS vendors such as Nokia, Samsung, Airspan, Ericsson.
- Previous experience working as a developer or architect with any wireless OSS platform
- Experience explaining complex business concepts to engineers, and explaining technically complex product roadmaps to business leaders
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Experience: General understanding of application methodologies, database and system design including managing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Nice to have Skills:
- AWS experience ( VPC, EC2, EMR, RDS, DynamoDB, Route 53, ELB, VPN, Direct Connect, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, S3, IAM, WAF, Lambda scripting with Python/Node.JS, Messaging, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB etc.)
- Experience with open-source applications such as Radis, Kibana, Jafka, Grafana, MySQL etc.
- Excel wizard; expertise in extracting, summarizing, and visualizing complex datasets and using them to bring understanding and clarity to real business questions
- Experience using business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to tell clear, meaningful, visually impactful stories with data
