Join a high-stakes, multi-billion-dollar IT divestiture program at one of the largest communications infrastructure providers in the U.S. A massive separation of fiber and small cell assets valued at $8.5 billion, involving complex data cloning, migrations, integrations, and service continuity across mission-critical networks for new and established entities. This is a deadline-driven, high-visibility environment where precision in execution directly impacts contractual obligations, service reliability, and successful separation milestones. You'll own real portfolios in a fast-paced, ambiguous setting with significant executive exposure, collaborating with engineering, operations, security, and vendors to deliver clean exits.

Overview

As a Technical Project Manager in Transitional Services Agreements (TSAs) for this large-scale IT divestiture, you'll take full ownership of a portfolio of services (e.g., applications, infrastructure, data platforms, IAM, end-user devices, hosting/cloud, network/telemetry, security, licensing/assets). This hands-on execution role focuses on driving day-to-day service delivery, managing SLAs and contractual commitments, identifying and mitigating risks to continuity, coordinating cross-functional teams, and building/executing detailed plans for clean TSA exits.

Responsibilities
  • Own a defined TSA service portfolio (e.g., IAM across multiple AD environments, data extracts & decommissioning, hosting/cloud, enterprise security, application/DBA support, end-user devices & collaboration tools, network/telemetry, SW/HW licensing & asset management) and track performance against contractual obligations and SLAs
  • Manage service requests, incidents, changes, and escalations; proactively identify and escalations; proactively identify and escalations.
  • Build, maintain, and baseline detailed execution plans, including dependency mapping between retained operations and buyer entities (new startup cloning vs. established integration)
  • Track milestones, critical path items, and adherence to separation timelines; drive decisions in meetings rather than prolonged discussions
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, infrastructure, application, security, operations, and vendor teams
  • Maintain disciplined RAID logs, proactively identify contract breach risks, coordinate remediation, and provide executive-ready, concise status reporting
  • For exit-focused roles: Develop and execute structured TSA exit plans, including data migration, decommissioning, and transition to buyer environments
  • Anticipate needs, hold teams accountable respectfully but firmly, and manage 20-50 concurrent deliverables
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of hands-on Technical Project / Program Management experience in complex IT environments
  • Proven track record coordinating cross-functional engineering teams and managing multiple parallel deliverables in deadline-driven settings
  • Strong project planning expertise, including advanced use of tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalents for milestone-based tracking and dependency management
  • Disciplined RAID log management and structured risk/compliance handling
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in IT separations, divestitures, M&A carve-outs, TSA delivery, system migrations/decommissioning, or regulated/contractual environments
  • Exposure to enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, data platforms, identity/IAM, hosting/cloud) and specific focus areas like multi-AD IAM migrations, data extracts, network support, or asset/license management
  • Familiarity with Agile practices (stand-ups, refinements, acceptance criteria capture) and tools like Azure DevOps, Harness, or Azure AD
