Human Resources Manager @ FACTS Engineering LLC | SHRM-CP

We’re seeking an experienced and adaptable Technical Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑disciplinary initiatives in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) product development.

You will serve as the bridge between hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams, driving delivery using Azure DevOps as the backbone for planning, tracking, and reporting. While Jira experience is not required, familiarity with Jira workflows and integration with Azure DevOps is considered a strong plus.

This role combines classic project management with hands‑on Agile leadership — ideal for someone who understands both industrial hardware development cycles and modern Agile project management. You’ll coordinate projects that integrate embedded control systems and manufacturing readiness, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery of industrial automation products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps projects for multiple product development streams.
  • Configure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Dashboards to support transparency and traceability.
  • Maintain dashboards, queries, and reporting views to support progress tracking across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
  • Knowledge of Jira workflows and ability to support integration with Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies — Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives — across multidisciplinary teams (hardware, firmware, and software).
  • Track sprint execution, velocity, and dependencies to ensure alignment with overall project milestones and hardware release cycles.
  • Promote Agile best practices while adapting processes to hybrid hardware/software environments.
Project Planning & Cross‑Functional Management
  • Develop integrated project plans that align Agile sprints with phase‑gate hardware schedules and manufacturing timelines.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and dependencies in collaboration with technical leads and product management.
  • Manage risks, change control, and mitigation strategies for R&D and production‑related initiatives.
  • Ensure visibility and communication of project progress across engineering, operations, procurement, and quality teams.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and QA to support validation, compliance, and readiness for production release.
Technical & Process Integration
  • Support firmware and embedded software build pipelines, version control, and release tracking in Azure DevOps.
  • Maintain traceability from requirements through verification, ensuring adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust‑based environment that empowers technical teams to innovate and execute.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical projects across hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and hybrid project models (Agile + Phase‑Gate).
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams — including controls, electronics, mechanical, and software engineers.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects within industrial automation or embedded systems environments.
