California Food Banks is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee six to ten projects concurrently, delivering successful outcomes for the organization and the team. You will guide complex conversations, manage budgets and schedules, and advocate for effective decisions across stakeholders and partners.
Responsibilities include leading kickoff and planning sessions, driving progress, and removing barriers to productivity while ensuring alignment with portfolio goals and resource planning.
In this forward-looking, proactive role, you will oversee and be responsible for managing six to ten projects at a time, dependent on size and complexity. You will drive projects forward and be an advocate for successful outcomes that serve both California Food Banks™ and the team’s priorities.
With your strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will build trusted advisor relationships with our team members and take the lead in managing crucial project conversations effectively. You will provide transparency around budget, schedule and scope while navigating technical or association complexity, with the higher goal of guiding effective decision-making that supports the key project objectives.
You will nurture a collaborative environment, identifying and removing obstacles to productivity and integrating interdependent workstreams. You will provide a long-range view and the objective perspective needed to deliver great work on time and on budget.
