    • Document a regular meeting cadence for the governance group to ensure continuous oversight and collaborative decision-making.
  • Policy and Procedure Documentation:
    • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including technical staff and subject matter experts, to identify, document, and maintain data governance protocols, procedures, and standards for the new, shared data system.
    • Ensure that all governance documentation aligns with Federal, Commerce, and NOAA data policies and strategies.
  • Corporate and Implementation Support and Communication:
    • Advise and support the project team in the implementation and adoption of the defined data governance protocols.
    • Provide guidance on best practices for technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
