Qualifications

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Technical Program Manager - Machine Learning for a leading technology client in San Diego. This individual will serve as the owner of multiple high-visibility machine learning initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, data science, QA, and business teams to drive successful project execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on program leader who can confidently facilitate discussions, identify risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure teams remain aligned on priorities and delivery timelines. This role will oversee end-to-end program execution, resource planning, stakeholder communication, and Jira-based project management while helping accelerate the delivery of innovative machine learning solutions across a global organization. Experience supporting AI/ML programs and collaborating with highly technical teams is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Own and drive two high-visibility machine learning programs from planning through execution
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between engineering, data science, QA, and business stakeholders
• Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation through Jira
• Identify project risks and roadblocks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership
• Coordinate ML model development, deployment, and feature delivery efforts - Ensure programs remain on track for deadlines and business objectives
• Drive alignment across geographically distributed teams
• Maintain project documentation and improve knowledge-sharing processes through Confluence and internal tools
• Monitor project health, delivery timelines, and overall program success metrics

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 – 8+ years of Technical Project/Program
• Experience supporting Machine Learning or AI-related project experience
• Experience utilizing Jira for project tracking, resource allocation, scheduling, and task management
• Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering projects from initiation through delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and business teams
• Experience identifying project risks, removing roadblocks, and driving projects to completion
• Excellent communication skills with confidence speaking up in leadership and collaborative meetings
• Experience coordinating resources, timelines, and dependencies across multiple teams
• Ability to serve as the project owner and primary point of contact for major initiatives
