Function of the group: We support Corporate Functions technology. It’s a lot of applications that support internal risk, HR applications, fraud, etc. We are a tech driven project management organization, so we support technology, not the business side of things.
Initiatives/Projects: Not known for sure. Projects will fall either in risk or workforce applications. Each one of our domains is $75 million in size from a portfolio perspective. The projects the individual will manage will probably be someone between two to five to seven depending on the team structures for the project.
Industry Background: Open to all backgrounds, Finance/Banking industry a big plus for alignment to what we’re doing from an organizational perspective.
Team Dynamic: Manager has within his organization over 70 PMs and program managers on the team and then within that each leader has probably about 8 or so project managers within their organizations. The individual will support a larger portfolio organization that has 70+ program project professionals on it
Role/Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a PM II that has experience working with Agile crews and Agile delivery.
- Has experience in making sure things go through change governance appropriately. Quality and Execution Project Manager
- Partners with the Agile Crew on delivery of project releases in coordination with defined business value/outcome strategy
- Leverage the defined stakeholder map to ensure that all communications are inclusive
- Responsible for providing input, and executing against, Project Plan
- Maintain risks, issues, and dependencies within Clarizen and offline Status Reports
- Develop and maintain relationships with execution teams as well as Project Stakeholders
- Maintain hygiene of Clarizen Projects (critical milestones, risks, releases, project tasks, etc.)
- Applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques – both intrinsic knowledge as well as CMFP guided knowledge - to meet project goals
- Accountable for the orchestration, and completion, of artifacts in support of high-quality delivery of project releases
- Partner with Quality Engineering team to develop best-practices for engagement, and execution, of testing activities
- Partner with Technology partners to ensure that execution strategy, as well as delivery plans, are validated and in alignment with dependency/business value strategy
- Communication of test plan, timeline, and quality control.
- Engage with agile crews to ensure that Epics and User Stories align appropriately to release schedule/plans
- Executes strategy and processes while also maintaining resource allocation and budget hygiene
- Partners with internal project liaisons to assign tasks, direct activities, and control activities surrounding project execution
- Maintains communications with PQA, PPMO, and Quality Management to ensure delivery of quality releases
- Managing the project triple constraint to deliver projects on time, on budget and to spec
- Managing and distributing Clarizen Status Reports
- RAU/RSCA identification and PRC Completion
- Tracking deliverables as they tie to project and release scope
- Risk Mechanics - Tactical risk items and how they impact group at large.
Must Have Skills: (3-5 years’ experience required.)
- Experience working with Agile crews and Agile delivery
