You will manage timelines for mechanisms, sealing, and structural integration, track BOM maturity, and drive issue resolution using tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in project management, TPM, manufacturing, or ME
• Exposure to physical product development lifecycles (Design, Sourcing, Validation, Build)
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field
• Familiarity with automotive body systems or manufacturing processes
• Basic familiarity with 3D CAD or PLM systems (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE)

Responsibilities

• Timeline & Schedule Management: Build, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules for mechanisms, sealing, and structural integration
• Supplier Coordination: Act as the programmatic interface with external suppliers; track hardware build plans and coordinate part deliveries
• Issue Tracking & Resolution: Maintain bug/issue trackers (e.g., Jira), follow up on RCA progress, and facilitate meetings to drive hardware issues to closure
• Cross-Functional Support: Facilitate communication between ME, supply chain, manufacturing, and validation teams; track BOM maturity
• Packaging & Clash Analysis: Support packaging investigations and clash analysis using CAD tools (CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks)
• PLM & Release Management: Manage the release of technical datasets and manufacturing drawings through formal PLM workflows
