What you will be doing:
  • Lead cross‑functional project teams to complete Sustaining and New Product Development (NPD) projects from planning through implementation.
  • Organize and lead teams using project management skills, planning, organization, communication, and collaboration; manage diverse scopes of projects with limited supervision.
  • Direct activities of internal and external team members to meet project objectives; implement design changes into production and provide consultative support for other engineering projects.
  • Support continuous improvement opportunities and ongoing process improvements to build the group.
  • Plan, execute projects, coach team members, solve problems, and make decisions with limited direction; communicate status up and down the organization.
What you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical field, preferably Software or Systems Engineering.
  • 3‑5 years of applied project management experience managing projects of various sizes for Embedded Software Programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with a diverse group of cross‑functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, QA, Regulatory, Sourcing, and Operations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Applied experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development process.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Medical Device Background or Automotive Industry experience.
  • Technical 4‑Year Degree.
  • Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
