The Technical Project Lead is responsible for coordinating production integration activities, material status tracking, and software/security upgrade deployments across operationally fielded systems. This role serves as the primary Program Management Office (PMO) liaison for production readiness, integration scheduling, deployment planning, and cross‑functional execution among engineering, manufacturing, logistics, quality assurance, field services, and program management teams. The successful candidate will maintain visibility into production risks, material shortages, system integration status, and field upgrade activities while ensuring customer commitments and program objectives are achieved. This individual must possess strong project leadership skills, technical acumen, and the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent activities in a mission‑critical operational environment.

Your tasks
  • Establish and maintain visibility of production shortages, material constraints, and integration status for activities executed at the Frederick, MD facility.
  • Develop and maintain site recovery and deployment plans supporting firmware, software, and security remediation activities for operational customer systems, including identification and coordination of required engineering, field service, and operational resources.
  • Track material availability, procurement status, and production readiness to support integration schedules and customer delivery commitments. Identify material shortages, supply chain risks, and schedule impacts, escalating issues as necessary. Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Engineering teams as the PMO liaison to ensure material requirements are met.
  • Maintain production readiness dashboards and escalation reports for material shortages, integration blockers, and schedule risks. Provide status reporting on production progress, inventory readiness, integration milestones, and risk areas.

  • Coordinate upgrade outages, deployment windows, and customer readiness activities with internal stakeholders and customer representatives.
  • Track upgrade readiness, testing completion, approvals, and deployment status. Monitor upgrade execution and track completion metrics across all fielded systems.
  • Coordinate software release activities, including documentation, training materials, deployment packages, and implementation plans. Support issue resolution and corrective action activities associated with software releases and security updates.
  • Manage change implementation activities while minimizing operational impacts to customers.
  • Track implementation progress through deployment completion and post-installation verification.
  • Serve as the primary coordination point between engineering, operations, field services, quality, supply chain, and program management teams supporting production recovery efforts and field software/security upgrade activities. Facilitate recurring reviews, readiness assessments, and risk management activities.
  • Develop and present project status reports to leadership and customer stakeholders.
  • Support executive reviews by providing timely and accurate program metrics, status, and risk assessments.
