Job summary

Arbor Energy is seeking a Technical Project Lead to drive the engineering and execution of its first-of-a-kind supercritical CO2 power plant, from FEED to commissioning and first power. Based at Arbor Energy HQ in El Segundo, CA, this engineer's role covers process and plant integration across disciplines.

You will work with turbomachinery, combustion, controls, electrical, and test engineers, travel up to 75% during construction, and mentor teams while delivering carbon-neutral baseload power.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in process or power plant engineering.
• Experience delivering from FEED to startup on site.
• Strong fundamentals in heat and material balances, P&IDs, and relief design.
• Owner's-side experience directing firms and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated technical execution plan across disciplines.
• Author plant-level process design and utilities integration.
• Identify long-lead equipment and manage procurement.
• Oversee engineering firms and interfaces between packages.
• Lead on-site execution through construction and commissioning.
