What We’re Looking For

A technical and solutions senior program manager responsible for leading an agile cross‑functional team of Systems, Hardware and Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Operations, etc. from initial concept to deployment. Must meet complex program goals for product performance, quality, regulatory compliance, cost, schedule, and development budget. Responsible for working with Product Management, Marketing, and Experience Designers to define the product, solidify the business case, and author the product and experience specifications. Participates in negotiations with Business Development and Legal.

Location

Role requires onsite presence in Holtsville, NY office (Hybrid – minimum of 3 days in the office per week).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive execution of solutions, including concept definition, requirements validation, architecture specification, and governance compliance to our Product Development Lifecycle Management framework.
  • Translate customer problems into solution requirements.
  • Lead Agile cross‑functional, globally distributed innovation teams and promote product development process capabilities.
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously or a large program under senior manager guidance, utilizing modern project management methodologies.
  • Align cross‑functional development activities (electrical, mechanical, regulatory, and manufacturing engineering).
  • Collaborate with Agile product owners, scrum masters, or release train engineers.
  • Lead system creation, integration planning, release management, and planning for demonstrations, proofs of concept, and pilots.
  • Create cross‑functional workstreams and drive execution for sales enablement, development, and deployment.
  • Build relationships and work across all relevant areas of the solution business: sales, services, IT, finance, marketing, product, engineering, and support.
  • Define proof of value and customer ROI.
  • Present business, technical, and program reviews to senior leadership using digital media, dashboards, and JIRA agile tools.
  • Execute program plan and budgets for multiple large projects; recommend corrective actions and implement changes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks; develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Motivate a project team to ensure solutions are reliable and high quality.
  • Balance scope, schedule, and budget to adjust the project with minimal impact to the business.
  • Provide coordination of deliverables and project assets; anticipate and address obstacles or issues; engage additional resources as needed.
  • Have intermediate understanding of development processes and product launch scope and activities.
  • Provide limited supervision by management for complex or novel problems.
  • Coach or act as escalation point for level 1 or level 2 program managers.
  • Support early‑stage go‑to‑market activities and transition to marketing.
  • Develop and protect intellectual property; be well versed with IP fundamentals.
  • Explore and understand competitive landscape in product and business terms.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; MS preferred.
  • Minimum work experience: 5+ years in engineering/program management or Scrum Master experience in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Past responsibility for multiple significant delivered‑to‑market solutions in asset intelligence (Location Services, RFID, Machine Learning, Machine Vision).
  • Experience with software development best practices including Scaled Agile, TDD, and Continuous Integration; a track record of applying these methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud development and software/services integration, as well as mobile application development for Android or iOS.
  • Experience solving difficult technical, quality, cost, and schedule challenges independently and as part of a team; well versed in risk management practices.

Pay Range

$108,960.00 – $163,440.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation

Opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 12% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
