Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional security and infrastructure initiatives across cloud, data center, platform engineering, InfoSec, IT, and Customer Success.

You will drive alignment, reduce risk, and strengthen security posture through deliberate program governance and agile execution. The role requires an authentic, accountable leader who partners with global teams, communicates clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years managing complex cross-organizational programs.
Experience leading multiple concurrent workstreams from initiation to delivery.
Technical knowledge in cloud platforms, data center, platform engineering, or security operations.
Proven ability to partner with engineering and operations teams on technical plans and decisions.
Strong cross-cultural collaboration with senior leaders, customers, and partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Agile/Lean and KPI-driven program delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional programs spanning security, cloud, data center, platform engineering, and infrastructure modernization.
Manage end-to-end planning, governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
Collaborate with Information Security, IT, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to align objectives.
Establish goals, ownership, decision frameworks, and communication plans across global teams.
Drive governance, risk reviews, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate program risks and delivery obstacles.
Deliver executive updates, KPI dashboards, and remediation plans.
Support decision-making with trade-offs and clear accountability.
Monitor program performance through KPIs, audits, and compliance activities.
Champion continuous improvement and enhanced governance and reporting capabilities.
Foster accountability, collaboration, and customer-centric delivery culture.
