Figma is seeking an expert TPM to support Security Operations. You will lead cross-functional programs critical to risk management and security operations, delivering scalable, repeatable practices.
The role can be held from US hubs or remotely in the United States, with a base salary range of $140,000–$245,000 USD and a broad benefits package. Strong collaboration across time zones is required.
US-Only Remote — Not Globally Location-Independent
This role is explicitly limited to US-based employees, either at Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices or remotely within the United States. International digital nomads or those hoping to work from outside the US are not eligible. For US-citizen nomads, however, this opens up meaningful flexibility.
Schedule & Async Friendliness: The job description emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, real-time alignment, and stakeholder communication — suggesting a largely synchronous work environment. Expect regular meetings across US time zones, making it best suited to someone based in the continental US (UTC-5 to UTC-8). Pure async or timezone-shifting arrangements are unlikely to work well here.
Salary vs. Cost of Living (for US-based nomads): The remote pay range is 80–100% of the $140K–$245K band, meaning remote workers could earn $112K–$245K depending on location. This goes a long way in lower-cost US cities:
Perks relevant to remote workers: Figma offers a work-from-home stipend, cell phone reimbursement, and a learning & development stipend — solid for home-office setup. Company recharge days add to schedule flexibility. Note that in-person onboarding is required upon hire.
