Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Safeguards Infrastructure and Evals to own operational health and drive platform investments. You will manage incident response, post-mortems, and define SLOs with key partners, while coordinating migrations and eval platform improvements.

Strong technical depth and AI safety interest are essential. You will work across safety-critical pipelines, runbooks, and incident platforms, partnering with engineering, Inference, and Cloud teams to keep

Qualifications

• Solid technical program management experience in operational or infrastructure-heavy environments.
• Experience triaging incidents in production ML systems and discussing technical details with engineers.
• Familiarity with incident management frameworks, SRE practices, and on-call operations at scale.
• Experience driving infrastructure migrations across multi-team environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tooling and operational cultures.

Responsibilities

• Own the Safeguards Engineering ops review cadence, surfacing incidents and reliability trends and coordinating decisions.
• Drive incident tracking and post-mortem execution, ensuring action items are completed and closed.
• Establish and maintain SLOs with partner teams and build tracking/reporting to verify adherence.
• Maintain runbook quality and clear incident ownership to prevent gaps during active incidents.
• Drive platform migrations and infrastructure projects across teams and platforms.
• Coordinate evals platform improvements and scope work with Safeguards and evals teams.
