Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects within Google Cloud. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate across cross-functional partners, turning ideas into reliable, scalable product insertions for data centers.

You will collaborate with engineers and executives to explain tradeoffs and ensure alignment with KPIs, while supporting the PDI organization in delivering fungible capacity for the future.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end cross-functional product development from concept through launch, managing scope, schedule, cost and resources.
• Coordinate with data centers, supply chain, construction, hardware and software teams to enable product insertions and reliable deployments.
• Lead project meetings, track progress, budgets, timelines, risks, and communications with stakeholders and executives.

Minimum qualifications

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

• Execute scope for end-to-end cross-functional product development of new products and programs (i.e. concept through development and launch) driving scope, schedule, cost and resource management, using existing processes.
• Work effectively with up/downstream partner teams across data centers, (supply chain, construction and execution, hardware and software, operations) to execute successful product insertions - delivering innovative designs and establishing a streamlined supply chain and reliable deployments.
• Lead project meetings, take meeting minutes, provide status updates, manage project resources, budgets, schedules, contract scopes of work, risk management, and overall communications plans. Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations for defined programs.
• Support establishing programs within the team, easily adapting to rotating discipline areas for product/program development.
• Ensure the validation and verification of products align to all KPIs and provide visibility to all partners and stakeholders on progress.
