Job summary

Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager II for NPI Data Center Design within Cloud Supply Chain. You will drive cross-functional programs, coordinate NPIs for hardware deployments, and partner with data center, networking, and power teams to optimize build-out cycles.

You will mentor junior team members, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate tradeoffs to executives while aligning roadmaps with fleet-wide deployment goals across Google's data center ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data center infrastructure (power, networking, cooling).
• Experience with hardware NPI lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery while addressing data center constraints in colocation data center deployments.
• Design and manage physical layouts, standards, and tooling requirements including assessment of deployment impact and feasibility of NPIs for planning and delivery.
• Build and support relationships between cross-functional teams, track deployment workflows with partner teams, and raise issues to ensure on-time follow-through.
• Influence the development of new products (NPI) and colocation server floor design decisions, focused particularly on upcoming fleetwide transitions in the ML and accelerators space.
• Drive the development of new tools and decision-making frameworks for optimizing fleet life-cycle.
