Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company.

As a Technical Program Manager on the Rollouts team, you will lead high‑visibility programs that empower engineers to deploy software at scale, defining roadmaps and driving adoption of centralized release platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience in evaluating, integrating, or leveraging AI technologies, tools, or automated processes for engineering execution and program velocity.
• Experience in software development or infrastructure engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define, drive, and execute end‑to‑end technical programs, roadmaps, and delivery milestones for Google's safe deployment and release infrastructure.
• Partner closely with software engineering leads, product managers, Site Reliability Engineers, and customer teams to align technical roadmaps and manage critical dependencies.
• Establish clear program structures, milestone tracking, risk identification and mitigation strategies, and delivery cadences in complex, distributed environments.
• Design and monitor key adoption funnels, reliability indicators, and operational velocity metrics to track program health, measure business impact, and guide architectural priorities.
• Deliver concise, credible communications and executive‑ready status updates for executive leadership, engineering partners, and user communities.
