Job summary

Amazon CloudWatch seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross-team programs spanning Logs, Metrics, Alarms, and Dashboards. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and leadership to deliver capabilities that help customers observe and operate their cloud with confidence.

You will own roadmaps, execution plans, and release schedules, identifying dependencies and communicating risks to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

• Drive complex, cross-organizational programs that deliver new CloudWatch capabilities to customers at scale.
• Work with engineering teams to develop roadmaps, execution strategies, and detailed plans for programs that span multiple service teams.

• Represent engineering teams to senior leadership — communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly and concisely.

CloudWatch enables customers to collect, access, and correlate metrics, logs, traces, and events across their entire AWS environment — giving them the tools to detect anomalies, set alarms, visualize data side by side, take automated actions, troubleshoot issues, and discover insights to keep their applications running smoothly.

We're looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross-team programs that span the breadth of CloudWatch — from Logs and Metrics to Alarms, Dashboards, and beyond. You'll partner with engineering teams, product managers, and senior leadership to deliver capabilities that impact virtually every AWS customer.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
