Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Addison, TX to lead global fiber network deployment initiatives and drive end-to-end delivery. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, identify risks, and communicate trade-offs to engineers and executives to keep schedules and milestones aligned with business goals.

You will work with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, and scale deployment workflows, contributing to Google's mission of building world-spanning network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience in program management.
• Experience with fiber network deployments.
• Experience with network infrastructure, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of global network infrastructure programs, including long-haul fiber, metro networks, and leased capacity, ensuring milestones are met from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to understand technical dependencies, resolve constraints, and align capacity forecasting with infrastructure deployment timelines.
• Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and technical trade-offs clearly to both engineering teams and leadership stakeholders.
• Translate complex, ambiguous strategic initiatives into well-defined technical requirements, actionable roadmaps, and clear execution plans.
• Contribute to process improvements and scalability enhancements within network deployment workflows to optimize efficiency and accelerate capacity delivery.
