Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Engineering Change Management (ECM) to lead cross‑functional, multi‑discipline programs across Google Data Centers.

You will plan requirements, identify risks, and manage schedules while communicating clearly with executives and engineers alike. The ECM team focuses on standardizing and streamlining engineering changes, ensuring cost control, schedule adherence, and strategic alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, project management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience as a project manager on projects and programs.
  • 5 years of experience using spreadsheet tools for ad-hoc data analysis, data input, and reporting in a technical or business context.
  • Experience in data center design and construction, or similar industries.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multiple Data Center and Google Cloud teams to manage and report on several simultaneous workstreams.
  • Track status of varied workstreams and provide reports, notifications, and presentations on specific, regional, and global levels.
  • Build workflows and data frameworks that scale.
  • Manage partner team data input mechanisms, seeking to automate and make systematic wherever possible.
  • Sustain a continuous improvement approach including ability to solicit feedback, identify and present process improvements and change management ideas.

  • Proficiency with AI and the ability to effectively, efficiently and ethically interact with AI systems to achieve desired outcomes, and experience managing AI program rollouts to decrease workload for repeatable tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret building and system engineering drawings and specifications for data centers to assess the impact of change.
