Job summary

AMAX in Fremont, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the Digital Operations initiative, leveraging AI agent technology to integrate MES and ERP, delivering actionable data insights to management and operations teams.

You will own end-to-end delivery from ideation through rollout, coordinate across business units and offshore engineers, and validate solutions with a focus on business fit and technical soundness. Training and documentation will support adoption and change management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a TPM/IE/Manufacturing Ops role within a production environment.
• Bi-lingual in Mandarin and English.
• Hands-on exposure to MES and/or ERP systems and shop-floor workflows.
• Foundational knowledge of AI agents/LLMs, SQL, and API-based integrations.

Job description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead our Digital Operations initiative, a strategic program that leverages AI agent technology to seamlessly integrate MES and ERP platforms, delivering actionable data insights to our management and operations teams.

Essential Functions

• Requirements Bridge: Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements from management and operations stakeholders; translate them into precise software requirements for offshore development teams
• Program Oversight: Own end-to-end delivery of Digital Operations features, from ideation and design through development, testing, UAT, and rollout
• Cross-Team Coordination: Synchronize efforts between business units (process owners, IE/PE, data teams) and offshore software engineers, ensuring alignment on scope, timeline, and quality
• Solution Validation: Review software deliverables, proof-of-concept, and prototypes; provide structured feedback and acceptance/rejection decisions based on business fit and technical soundness
• Change Management & Training: Design and deliver training programs for end users during rollout; develop documentation, SOPs, and runbooks to support adoption
• Risk & Dependency Management: Identify program risks, blockers, and cross-functional dependencies early; drive resolution through clear escalation and stakeholder communication

Requirements

• 3+ years in a Technical Program Manager, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Operations role within a production/manufacturing environment
• Bi-lingual in Mandarin and English
• Hands-on exposure to MES and/or ERP systems — you understand shop-floor workflows, work orders, BOMs, scheduling, and inventory, as well as data flows between MES and ERP
• Foundational software knowledge: AI agents/LLMs, relational databases (SQL), and API-based integrations

The annual salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000. This may be subject to change based on the candidate's education, experience and skill set.
