Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead Data Center Network Infrastructure Construction projects across global teams. You will plan requirements with internal customers and drive projects through the full lifecycle, from scoping to delivery, balancing technical trade-offs with business needs.

  • Serve as the primary engine for network and machine fiber deployment, focusing on delivery of critical network and ML capacity.
  • Ensure all physical and logical components are integrated, providing a foundation for high-scale computational workloads.
  • Own the deployment lifecycle and support the Regional Program Manager with strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate between global supply chain, facilities, and engineering to meet milestones with precision and technical excellence.

Job description

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage, fiber-optics, or critical systems construction management.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Experience with facility electrical and mechanical systems, and design build processes.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Certification in RCDD, PMP, or similar.
  • 5 years of experience in telecommunications, low-voltage and fiber-optics construction management.
  • 5 years of experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule and within budget.
  • Experience in construction project/program management with data infrastructure (copper, fiber optic systems and low voltage telecom/security) in corporate real estate or data center environments.
  • Experience working in data centers or similar mission-critical environments with formal change control processes.

This includes working with customers to develop project scopes, managing project schedules, identifying risks and communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your project teams can span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and you keep all the stakeholders coordinated and informed on the project's progress and schedule. Using the technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
