Job summary

Jobtailor in Baltimore, MD seeks an experienced Executive Cyber Reporting Lead to own the executive reporting program for the Office of the CISO. You will design Power BI dashboards and deliver board-ready materials, spanning cyber, technology risk, and financial contexts.

Lead governance, data quality, and source-system alignment while maturing reporting cadence and automation. Collaborate across Technology, Finance, and Risk to produce concise, strategic briefs for senior leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in business management, program management, cyber/technology reporting, financial management, risk management, or executive-level governance.
  • Experience supporting senior executive stakeholders and managing high-visibility deliverables, sensitive information, and competing priorities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional programs across Technology, Finance, Cybersecurity, Risk, and business management teams.
  • Experience with budget management, financial reporting, workforce/headcount analysis, program financials, or related business management activities.
  • Strong understanding of management reporting disciplines, including data collection, quality control, metric development, reporting governance, and executive presentation development.
  • Experience developing dashboards, board presentations, senior leadership updates, briefing documents, talking points, and decision-support materials.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity, technology risk, or information security concepts.
  • Power BI experience required.
  • Familiarity with Jira, PPM, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies within a mature SDLC environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver polished work under tight timelines.
  • Preferred: experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, operational resilience, or financial services technology.
  • Preferred: experience supporting CISO, CIO, CTO, COO, Finance, Risk, or board-level reporting functions.
  • Preferred: experience with cyber metrics, risk dashboards, governance forums, regulatory or audit-related reporting, or technology investment reporting.
  • Preferred: familiarity with NIST CSF, CRI, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27002, SOC2, or similar frameworks.
  • Preferred: experience identifying automation opportunities across reporting, compliance, financial management, or program governance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop narratives, talking points, Q&A materials, and briefing documents for senior leaders.
  • Translate complex cyber, technology, risk, and financial information into concise executive-level materials.
  • Maintain governance over reporting deliverables, including version control, source documentation, issue tracking, and review cycles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, reduce manual effort, and strengthen transparency across cyber performance, investment, delivery status, and risk posture.

Job description

  • Lead and manage executive cyber reporting deliverables for the Office of the CISO, including senior management updates, board-level reporting, cyber education materials, and ad hoc stakeholder requests
  • Own the operating model for the Cyber Executive Reporting Dashboard, including roadmap coordination, governance, data quality, enhancement prioritization, and source-system alignment
  • Design enterprise Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting solutions
  • Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, calculated columns, and reporting logic
  • Collect, validate, synthesize, and present cyber program information in an executive-ready format
  • Mature cyber reporting processes through dashboard enhancements, metric standardization, reporting cadence management, and automation
  • Support cyber finance business management, including budget tracking, financial reporting, headcount analysis, and workforce and location planning
  • Provide program and budget management support for Office of the CISO priorities
  • Coordinate regional CISO engagement and reporting across regional and global cyber teams
  • Develop narratives, talking points, Q&A materials, and briefing documents for senior leaders
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement for cyber underwriting, risk reporting, governance, and strategic cyber initiatives
  • Translate complex cyber, technology, risk, and financial information into concise executive-level materials
