Job summary

Google in Seattle is seeking a Technical Program Manager for GSST Applied Data and AI Solutions to lead initiatives that leverage data to improve security and operational efficiency. You will define and drive a line of data products for internal stakeholders across Alphabet.

Collaborating with data engineers to source data from physical security systems, delivering pipelines, dashboards, and integrations, you will manage enterprise risks and enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, technology, or related field.
• 7 years building technical strategy and security programs (physical access, video, IT networking).
• 5 years delivering data products to business users.
• Experience interacting with both technical and non-technical groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technology against physical security strategies with focus on scalable growth, automation, risk management, and process improvement.
• Own the delivery of data products from planning to requirements and implementations.
• Identify and track changing business conditions to evolve security strategies and products.
• Manage highly confidential information and safeguard IP.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior colleagues and stakeholders as a security SME.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including physical access control, intrusion detection, video management, PSIM, IT networking, or construction/architecture.
• 5 years of experience delivering data products to business users.
• Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups at various levels.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with physical security systems such as physical access control, intrusion detection, case management and video management.
• Experience with product management or product line engineering.
• Ability to lead projects by navigating priorities, measurable objectives, dependencies, planning, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, implementation and subsequent monitoring, through informal authority.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and people management skills and ability to take initiative while building cross-functional relationships.

As a Technical Program Manager for the Global Security Systems and Technology (GSST) Applied Data and AI Solutions, you will be responsible for leading initiatives that leverage data to make Google more secure and more efficiently run. You will take accountability to define and drive the development of a line of data products to cater to the different needs of stakeholders internal to GSRS and across Alphabet. You will work with data engineers to source data from a variety of physical security systems (1P and 3P) delivering pipelines, dashboards and data integrations.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $156000 - $226000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
