Mistral AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead and scale human data annotation for the Code team. You will work with researchers to define data strategies and bridge research, product, and engineering to accelerate development of AI models.

You will manage end-to-end campaigns, ensure data quality, and coordinate with vendors and contractors in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role emphasizes hands-on execution and strong cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience blending software engineering and technical program management.
• Strong technical foundation in Python.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomous, proactive problem-solver with continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience leading a team with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with code research team to develop data strategies and translate research needs into actionable data annotation campaigns.
• Drive human data annotation campaigns from scoping to delivery, balancing data needs, budget, and timelines.
• Manage a data quality assurance team and implement scalable quality control processes.
• Coordinate with annotation teams (contractor, vendor) across sourcing, onboarding, training, and performance monitoring.
