The Impact You’ll Make

As a Product Change Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects – you’re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of Product Change Management. You’ll create, maintain, and enforce centralized standards, promote reuse and forward-compatibility in design changes, and be relied upon for expertise in change management.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintain long-term success.
  • Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide support to teams needing subject matter expertise in change management.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meet business requirements on time and within budget.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects from inception to impactful results.
  • Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve processes and inspire alignment.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies.
  • CAD experience, particularly with CREO and Teamcenter, is a bonus.
  • SAP experience or familiarity with another ERP system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools, including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent, is essential.
  • Knowledge of program management methods and experience in product development and release (PDR) procedures is necessary.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 are required.
  • Experience in or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or related industries is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is also a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
