Yield Engineering Systems, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead engineering projects from concept to deployment.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, resources, and budgets, and ensure customer objectives are met with clear status updates. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, KPI development, and the ability to present to management at all levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology programs with emphasis on product development, preferably in semiconductor equipment.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to bring people together from a wide variety of organizations.
• Data driven, Motivated, Self-starter.
• Able to develop meaningful Key Performance Indicators and metrics that measure the value created by the programs that you lead.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to maintain alignment across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills; must be comfortable presenting to management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Engineering project plans from conception and planning to implementation, including strategies, processes, and resources.
• Manage schedule and engineering task details by utilizing project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklist, and project scheduling software.
• Drive allocated resources from cross functional organizations to achieve on-time and within-budget performance objectives for the project.
• Interface and coordinate with internal customers to define objectives, provide status updates, and prepare for release and deployment.
• Identify potential complications within the program and develop solutions for resolution.
• Ensure that our customers can get the most possible value out of the processes and tools that we develop.
• Ensure objectives are clearly defined and agreed to across the business unit.

Compensation:

• The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000 per year; higher compensation may be available depending on advanced skills and/or specific experience.
• YES also offers a performance-based annual bonus and a competitive benefits package, which includes a 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, in addition to flexible PTO.
