Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a strategic, high-stakes leader to guide iOS and system services fundamentals for AR. You will act as the technical authority for iOS architecture and the delivery of the next generation of XR products, overseeing a portfolio ensuring first-time integration for AR with iOS and system services like media components.

You will empower and manage a high-performing team of TPMs, drive the strategic roadmap, identify gaps in the stack, and align technical execution with product

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technical program management experience.
  • 7 years in a leadership role with/without direct reports.
  • Experience delivering software and hardware projects within iOS.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy, define, lead, and own the execution of strategic XR programs from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with the overall product goal and business objectives.
  • Drive program schedules, identify risks, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships, build alliances, and advocate for program needs across different organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, UX Design, Research, and Operations to deliver high-quality XR products and services.
  • Lead triage with tech leads on incoming challenges for your focus areas.
  • Manage a team of TPMs, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

ABOUT THE JOB

This is a strategic, high-stakes leadership role for iOS and system servicesfundamentals for AR.

In this role, you will be the technical authority for the iOS architecture anddelivery of the next generation of products. You will oversee a criticalportfolio that ensures first-time integration for AR with iOS as well as systemservices fundamentals like media components. You will also lead mission controlto ensure that the organization executes with high velocity while retainingstability and quality. You will require the ability to match technicalexcellence with strategic execution and an understanding of the product and thebusiness. You will identify and resolve gaps in the technical stack along withcurrent processes and tools to ensure successful delivery, as well as identifymethods that contribute to operational scalability for the internal team. US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits
